The ever-expanding clinical research department at RAU allows our physicians to offer patients both the best treatments commercially available and access to innovative therapies on the horizon. Recently, our own Dr. Robert Kwun performed the first surgical administration in Utah of an investigational gene therapy for wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD) as part of a clinical research study.

Referring Provider FAQs

  • To refer a patient, please visit our Refer a Patient page or call one of our offices listed.

  • Should an emergency come up outside our normal hours, you can always contact our office. We provide on-call service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call 801-312-2020 or 800-873-8462, and we’ll quickly respond to you

  • Please ask your patient to complete and sign our Authorization Form and fax it to their care location.

  • We kindly ask patients and other visitors to follow these guidelines:

    Please DO NOT ENTER our office if:

    • You feel ill, have a fever, cough, chills, fatigue, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
    • Any member of your household shows similar symptoms.
